Pamela Jean (Collins) Waggoner, 77, of Houston, Texas walked through heavens gates to be with her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2024 and to forever be reunited with family and friends that preceded her. She was born on July 9, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away peacefully in Cypress, TX.
Pam graduated early at age 16 from Thorndale High School. She later received her Bachelor's from Sam Houston State University at age 19 to pursue a career in Education as a high school math teacher and later retired as a senior tax advisor at H&R Block.
She was the oldest daughter of Lois Laura Johnson Collins and Superintendent Floyd Collins. Pam was a long time member of East Haven Baptist Church and Sagemont Church in Houston. She loved being involved socially with her church family, friends, and neighbors. She especially loved a good book, dining, watching her shows, coffee, and traveling and visiting casinos. During the holidays she enjoyed making her pecan pies and apple cakes to share with family and friends.
Preceded in death by her loving husband R.B.; widowed husband Ken; parents Lois and Floyd; and her sister Ann Adams. She is survived by her beloved son Derek Davis and wife, Tasha; six grandchildren; her sister Frances (Kay) Carpenter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who she loved dearly.
In respect for Pam's passions and final wishes, the family will be casting her ashes into the Gulf of Mexico with all our love and care. Her life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Family and friends will be notified of a special celebration of life to be held at a later date.
