David Wane Smith

David Wane Smith, passed away at the age of 59.  Born on April 12, 1964, in Killeen, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Dale Smith and Barbara Jean Campbell, and sister, Donna Roxanne Smith. Left to remember his memory are Lucy Hall, former wife for many years; daughter, Davina Smith; son, David Smith and wife Brianna Smith; grandchildren Crixus Meacham, Ella Rose Smith and Emilia Rae Smith.  

For those who knew David well, his untimely departure has left a profound void in our hearts.   

David was a happy person by nature who always had a smile and would say or do something to make you laugh, always looking for the good and living every day in the moment.  

David was a jack of all trades and was exceptionally talented in building anything he put his mind to.  

At a young age he helped his father build some apartments in his hometown, that is called, ‘Son David’.  

He learned then of his love to build and explore his talents that later led him to Baytown where he started his own business.  His business grew and was successful for many years and impacted all who knew him.   

David’s wonderful sense of humor endeared him to adults as well as children.  He was truly a “people person” and lit up any room he entered.  David was a man of great faith and loved witnessing to anyone and everyone that would listen.  

He will forever be remembered for his joking nature, love for people and his generous spirit.   

David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
