Craig was born on December 31, 1959 He was the child of Eva Leno and Ernest Leno; In 1978, Craig, graduated from Lee High School in Baytown, Tx. He studied at Texas Southern University while working full-time at Cameron Iron Works. Upon, graduating, Craig Sr. kickstarted his 20-year career working at Marathon Oil Company as an IT specialist. He later went on to receive his bachelor's degree in business management at Letourneau University. After a 20 years career at Marathon Oil Company, Craig went on the work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (T.D.C.J).
Many people adored Craig, who was a loving father. He had a great sense of humor and could make just about everyone laugh. He was modest and enjoyed dressing up. He was devoted to his family, especially his late mother, Eva Leno. He made an everlasting impression on everyone who encountered him. He will be missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his children Craig Leno Jr. (Nicky Leno), Brandon Leno, and Xavier Leno, as well as five grandchildren. Olivette Wilson, Patricia Leno, Cynthia Bolden (Robert), Sandra Kay Harris (Gerald), Donald Ray Leno (Thelma), and Jessie Mae Leno are his sisters and brothers.
On July 21, 2023, Craig Leno, 63, gently transitioned into everlasting rest. He was predeceased by his sister Jocelyn Cartwright, mother Eva Leno, and father Ernest Leno.
